Monster Tajima’s dream of breaking the 10 minutes barrier at Pikes Peak has been accomplished as the 60 years old man managed to set a new record at the International Hill Climb of 9 minutes 51.278 seconds in his Suzuki SX4 Climb Special.
With 925 horsepower as his disposal, Nobuhiro Tajima has smashed his previous record of 10 minutes 01.41 seconds, and as the video will show, he really pushed that car to the limits, with water spewing out of the radiator as he came to the finish.
The second fastest this year was Rhys Millen who finished in 10:02.242 while Jean Philippe Dayraut and his Dacia Duster No Limit were third after completing the hill climb in 10:17.707.
