Mitsubishi has priced its latest special edition model which expands the Shogun range in the UK. We’re referring to the Shogun Black which is based on the current 3.2 Di-D LWB Shogun SG4 comes with enhanced exterior styling and will be available at UK dealerships from January 1st 2012.
The list of visual enhancements on the Mitsubishi Shogun Black includes numerous black elements such as the roof, spoiler, wing mirrors, grille, headlamp bezels, fog lamp surround, door handles, side steps and 20 inch alloys.
The Shogun Black can be painted in one of the five available metallic colours (Frost White (solid), Cool Silver, Diamond Black(Pearleascent), Orient Red and Granite Brown) and under the bonnet the Japanese model features a Euro 5 compliant engine rated at 197 bhp and 441 Nm of torque.
Just like the regular model this special edition Shogun has a towing capacity of 3,500 Kg, comes with best-in-class CO2 emissions and features standard equipment such as Satellite navigation, reversing camera and iPod connectivity.
Inside the Shogun Black customers will find high-quality material leather upholstery, newly illuminated instruments and new power window control panels in a brushed sliver finish.
Pricing for the Mitsubishi Shogun Black starts at 41,999 GBP which means just 1,000 GBP above the SG4 model, and for those who want metallic body colours, that will mean an additional 540 GBP.

The Mitsubishi Shogun looks good, it’s well specified and it’s a proper off-roader. Unfortunately, the on-road drive is less impressive, and the Shogun’s best rivals are far more civilised.
