Mitsubishi has published a teaser video with the upcoming 2016 Pajero Sport (Challenger the name used in some markets). The new video can be named a little bit futile judging by the fact that at the beginning of this week a pre-production unit was caught on camera wearing no camouflage.
The upcoming 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is based on the new L200 pick-up truck architecture and features a designed heavily influenced by the Outlander. The front part is now dominated by the massive grille with the new headlights that have been designed with the GR-HEV concept in the engineers head.
For now we don’t have any technical details but we can speculate that the 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will feature the same engines as the L200. We are talking about a 2.4 and 2.5 liter turbo diesel units and a naturally aspirated 2.4 gasoline engines.
The full reveal of the 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will take place on August 1 at the 2015 Bangkok International Grand Motor Sale in Thailand. Sales are scheduled to debut before the end of this year.
