Mitsubishi has officially published a teaser picture with the upcoming Ground Tourer concept. The prototype is set to be revealed during the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the event which will kick off on October. As you can imagine, the new concept serve as a follow-up to the XR PHEV II and eX concepts revealed in 2015. 

The upcoming 2016 Mitsubishi Ground Tourer concept comes with a flat roofline which was finished in red. The body work is finished in grey and it appears to have no conventional door handles. More than that, the Mitsubishi Ground Tourer concept will feature video cameras instead of the classic side mirrors.

For now we don’t have any interior pictures but Mitsubishi told us that the Mitsubishi Ground Tourer concept will feature new and interesting gadgets. 

Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Ground Tourer concept will feature a plug-in hybrid arrangement which means that we will see a combustion engine and an electric motor working together. More than that, the Ground Tourer concept will offer effortless travel both on and off the beaten track whatever the driving conditions which means that the car will come with a four-wheel drive system.
