Mini has officially unveiled the third generation Countryman. This time, the compact crossover is electric.

As you would expect, the new Countryman EV is based on the BMW iX1 platform, and just like the German model, it shares the electric components.

The new British SUV can be ordered with two electric powetrain: the base of the line with one motor and 201 HP, and the top of the line with dual motor configuration which can deliver 308 horsepower.

For now there are no info about battery size, but we do know that the standard variant (with one motor) can travel up to 287 miles with one charge, while the Countryman SE All4 (commercial name) with two motors can travel up to 269 miles with one charge.

Both versions can be charged at 22 kW AC or 130 kW DC.
