A few months ago, Mini unveiled the third generation of John Cooper Works GP pocket rocket. This special edition will be made in just 3.000 units and the production already started.
The production variant of the car is equipped with a 2.0 liter petrol unit that can deliver 306 horsepower and 450 Nm peak of torque. But today, the guys from Manhart have prepared a big surprise: a performance package for this car.
Thanks to a revised ECU, a new intercooler system and a special exhaust system, the 2.0 liter engine can deliver 350 horsepower and 530 Nm peak of torque. For now, the German tuning firm did not disclose the performances of the car, but we have to remind you that the production variant can run from not to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 265 km/h (this is why the Mini John Cooper Works GP is considered the fastest production Mini ever built until now).
There also some suspension tweaks that can lower the ride height by 20 mm on the front and 15 mm at the back.
On the design side, Manhart has prepared 19 inch wheels Manhart Concave One and some golden accents on the body.
