Ford has started a program with a charging station equipped with a robotic arm which was designed to help the people with disabilities to charge their cars easily.
Now, Mini is coming with a special modification available for the electric Cooper SE. According to the Brits, the electric model can be ordered with modifications developed for people with disabilities. These includes a steering wheel ring for acceleration and an electronic park button near the steering wheel.
This project was developed with some help from Driving Experience instructor Tina Schmidt-Kiendl, herself a wheelchair user.
Aside for these modifications, Mini also offering some driving safety training course at the BMW and Mini Driving Experience center in Maisach just outside Munich.
