MINI is introducing two London-themed special edition models based on the brand’s three-door hatchback.
These unique models created to honor the 2012 London Olympic Games are called the Baker Street and Bayswater and will become available at dealerships this spring.
The company says the MINI Baker Street will target "individualist with a taste for extravagance" and some of the features that describe this model include a Rooftop Grey metallic exterior paint shade (Pepper White and Midnight Black also available) combined with v-shaped bonnet stripes and 16 inch 6-star twin-spoke light alloys painted in high-gloss black.
In MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper D trim the car’s roof will be painted in black with the Baker Street lettering on the side scuttles, while for the interior the list of enhancements include unique cloth/leather seats, contrasting stitching, new floor mats and special colours for the dashboard and door trim.
As for the MINI Bayswater, in this case we are talking about special elements that apply to the regular Cooper, the Cooper S, Cooper D and Cooper SD, elements that include the Kite Bleu metallic treatment for the exterior, a black painted roof, racing stripes, unique mirror covers and 17 inch wheels.
On the inside the MINI Bayswater comes with unique lettering on the door sills and seat tags, new seats wrapped in leather and featuring contrasting stitching, Piano Black trim and stainless steel pedals.
