After eight months, Michael Schumacher is finally going home. According to our colleagues from Bunte, a German weekly, the seventh time World Champion of Formula 1 German has left the Lausanne rehabilitation clinic and he is going home.
"Considering the severe injuries he suffered, progress has been made in the past weeks and months. There is still, however, a long and difficult road ahead", is said in a statement made by Sabine Kehm, Michael Schumacher’s manager.
But Schumacher still requires constant assistance through the day because his motor, language and memory skills are not completely restored.
More than that, Sabine Kehm also said on Tuesday that massive changes in his health status were registered by the clinic personnel.
