It was only natural for the first tuning program involving the 2012 McLaren MP4 12C to come from a British tuner. They are called Merdad and they have named their project the MehRon GT.
The car will be showcased in Frankfurt starting from next week, and as these initial images show, the car has been visually enhanced to appear even more aggressive due to modified front section which is now wider and features new air intakes and a new spoiler lip, while the rear fender has pretty much received the same treatment, meaning it is wider and therefor it looks more muscular.
The rear of the Merdad 2012 McLaren MP4 12C features exposed black carbon fiber, and for the interior the tuner promises a wide range of personalisation options.
Of course these dramatic looking enhancements would be nothing without some performance upgrades, that’s why the Merdad 2012 McLaren MP4 12C received a SuperSound Exhaust system and a set of lightweight forged wheels. An engine power increase is also under development and should be announced in 2012.
