Mercedes presented the Viano Vision Diamond at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, a concept van with an exclusive interior designed to be chauffeur driven.
The Viano Vision Diamond features two differently coloured areas, one for the chauffeur which is completely black and uses fine nappa leather, and one in porcelain white for the rear passengers.
The seats in the lounge style passenger compartment have integrated footrests and are enhanced with heating, cooling and massage functions, plus the automaker has fitted cup holders and Champagne glass holders between them, which appear at the push of a button.
The side paneling has five bottle holders, while the interior trim is embedded with eight diamonds as a reference to the lucky Chinese number.
Additional equipment inside the Mercedes Viano Vision Diamond includes a high-end sound system from Bang & Olufsen operated via two iPad2 or iPhone4 devices, a 40 inch screen and Internet connectivity enabled via a W-LAN system.
On the outside the luxurious van is distinguished by its exclusive two-tone paint finish, black radiator grille, chrome grille louvers, five-spoke design rims and brakes that feature the words Mercedes-Benz in gold.
