Mercedes-Benz has another good news for us. The Germans will unveil this Friday the new generation of the Unimog off-roader and Econic trucks. The news comes a few hours after the Stuttgart based car maker announced that they will unveil in Shanghai the new GLA Concept.

The presentation of the Unimog and Econic will take place at the Mercedes truck factory in Worth am Rhein in Germany. The improved models will be launched this fall, and as the officials put it, the vehicle will feature "extensive design innovations to the interior and exterior."

Also, the trucks will be equipped with new BlueTec-6 diesel engines that meet Euro VI emissions standards.
