Mercedes teams up with Apple Music and Universal

For some months, Mercedes has in its cars a 3D and 4D sound system developed by Burmester. It was developed with Dolby Atmos technology, and this means you can have theatre-like experiences in the car.

But there was a problem. Nobody delivered music made with Dolby Atmos in cars. As a result, Mercedes has decided to sign a partnership with Apple Music and Universal Music Studios to deliver that special music inside its cars.

Starting now, if you have a 3D or 4D sound system in your Mercedes (at this point you can order one in Mercedes S-Class, Maybach S-Class, EQS, EQS SUV, EQE and EQE SUV) you’ll be able to listen good music at studio-like sound quality. And this is big.
