The journalists from Autocar filmed this Mercedes SLS AMG review video at the Laguna Seca race track and Matt Prior compares some key aspects regarding the Gullwinged supercar with features found in cars that come from competitive brands like Ferrari or Aston Martin.
Extracting its juice from a 6.3-litre V8 powerplant developing 571 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque the Mercedes SLS AMG has a 47 to 53 percent weight distribution due to its rear positioned gearbox and has a listed DIN kerb weight of 1620 kilograms.
As far as performance the Mercedes SLS AMG can sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 317 Km/h and has a price tag that starts at 177,310 Euro or about 150,000 GBP.
