Even though Daimler did not officially unwrap the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell yet, bild.de managed to shoot an exclusive video with the company’s electric prototype.
The are four electric motors that extract power from three high-voltage Lithium-Ion batteries fitted throughout the car, which means the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell can unleash 625 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque.
Accelerating from nought to 62 mpg is expected to take 4.0 seconds and production will probably start in 3 years.
Thanks to this first Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell video we also get to see the car’s interior which looks more futuristic, plus a few driving scenes.
