Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift. The model will be showcased during the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, the event which will kick off on November 17. For now, the Germans have given only a full picture gallery and few details about the new SL facelift. 

On the outside we see a large diamond grille, AMG GT-inspired headlights, and a bigger logo and restyle front bumper with bigger air intakes. At the rear end of the car we see modified tailpipes, a new spoiler with an integrated diffuser and different taillights.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL AMG 63 features a different radiator grille, some carbon fiber accents and special Continental ContiSportContact tires. The range-topping SL AMG 65 has silver accents and a V12 BiTurbo badge on the fenders.

Inside the cabin, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift features a new center console with a bigger display. We also see the new controller for driving modes (Individual, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Race). 

In technical terms, the German roadster will get powerful engines, a 9G-Tronic transmission and the Active Body Control system.
