Mercedes-Benz has published a teaser picture and a teaser video of the upcoming pick-up concept. The prototype is previewing the first pick-up in the German car manufacturer history. According to the teasers, the concept will be revealed on October 25 and the international unveiling will take place at the 2016 Sao Paolo Auto Show.

As you already know, the upcoming Mercedes-Benz pick-up will be based on the Nissan Navara and on the newly Renault Alaskan. Just like the French model, the Mercedes-Benz pick-up will be sold only in South America, South Africa and Argentina. Later it might come in other markets.

Just like the Navara, the new German model will be offered with a choice of three engines. We are talking about a 2.5 liter petrol unit, about a 2.3 liter diesel engine and about a 3.0 liter also diesel.

But Mercedes-Benz has told us that their pick-up will not be a "fat cowboy truck for North America." It will come with three equipment levels, including one for work and one more
