The German car maker Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the new 2014 Unimog and Econic trucks. The new Unimog comes with a panoramic cab with a more prominent grille, LED daytime running lights and new windscreen wipers that are mounted above the window.
Inside the cabin there is a larger instrument cluster, optimized controls and a front camera monitor. There is also a removable joystick that controls various accessories plus a new system that has some pre-programmed modes for the tires. Under the hood, Mercedes-Benz will provide a variety of engines that follow the Euro VI rules.
The new Econic has a new grille, some stronger bumpers, and, of course LED DRL. Mercedes-Benz Econic will come with a 7.7 liter diesel engine that can output 299 horsepower or 354 HP. The resources are put to the ground via a six-speed automatic transmission. Both models will enter the production in September and will be seen on the roads later this year.
