The German tuner Poseidon has prepared a special exterior and performance package for the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. The legendary off-roader has received new spoilers, new wheels and a few body accessories.
The most important modification was made under the hood. As you already know, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG comes with a V8 twin-turbo 5.5 liter engine rated at 544 horsepower and 760 Nm peak of torque.
The guys from Poseidon have replaced the standard turbochargers with new ones, have modified the air intake system and the intercooler. More than that, they have installed a sport exhaust system, a remapped ECU and a revised 7G-Tronic transmission. As a result, the V8 5.5 liter engine can now deliver 830 horsepower and an astonishing 1.350 Nm peak of torque. Under these conditions, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG needs only 4.2 seconds to run from stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph), 1.2 quicker than the standard version.
