A couple of weeks ago, Mercedes-Benz published a few pictures and details of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4. Now, the mighty off-roader has impressed the audience at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
As you already know, the new German car is a 4×4 version of a 6×6 car that is produced in a limited version. The Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 comes with two independent axels, features a 450 mm ground clearance and sits on massive 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in special off-road tires.
The Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 has portal axles, a modified suspension, body enhancements and some AMG body accessories. Under the hood of the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 is a twin-turbo V8 4.0 liter engine that can deliver 422 horsepower. For better experiences in off-road, the car has received a 52 degree approach and 54 degree departure angles.
For now, we don’t know if the car will go into the production line, but according to Mercedes-Benz this decision will be made based on the feedback received.
