During the first day of the 2015 New York Auto Show the World Car Awards jury has announced the winner of the 2015 World Car of the Year title. And drums! This winner the prize goes to Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
According to World Car Awards, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class managed to beat the Ford Mustang and the new Volkswagen Passat. But Mercedes-Benz couldn’t go home with only one title. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe won the World Luxury Car of the Year while the Mercedes-AMG GT managed to take the World Performance Car of Year.
Unfortunately, Mercedes-Benz S500 Plug-In Hybrid lost the World Green Car of the Year title. In this class, the BMW i8 was the winner. Last, but not least, the Citroen C4 Cactus won the award for World Car Design of the Year.
