LEGO and Daimler AG have teamed up to deliver a new scale model of the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245. The new car will become part of LEGO’s Technic line and features 2,793 different pieces and several pneumatic actuators.
Overall, the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245 measures 21 inches long, 5 inches wide and 12 inches tall. According to Mercedes-Benz, the new Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245 by LEGO will go on sale on August 1st and it is being billed as one of the most complex models in the LEGO Technic assortment.
We wanted to match the real Arocs 3245 as best as we could. Our model comes with [a] new four axle suspension, a new outrigger element, a new turntable element, pumps, and of course our advanced new Pneumatics 2.0 system, which offers an easier, more realistic way of connecting cylinders and hoses. And, as always with our big LEGO Technic models, this box comes with building instructions for an alternative model that is equally authentic and challenging to build", said Niels Henrik Horsted, LEGO Senior Marketing Manager.
The new Lego Technic Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245 will hit retail toy shelves starting August 1, 2015.
