The Porsche 911 GT2 RS equipped with a Manthey Performance kit has become the fastest production road going car around the Nurburgring. The last record was held by Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series.
As a result, the guys who manage Mercedes-AMG’s social media accounts have decided to complement Porsche’s performance around the German race track. But as we have seen lately, this has become a game of sarcasm.
“Fair competition has always inspired us. Congrats on that belter of a lap on the Nordschleife, Porsche – even though it took an additional performance kit to beat the record time set by our series production Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series”, says the Instagram post.
