McLaren has announced that the 675LT model is sold out. The car has entered in the production assembly line and all the 500 units have been spoken for. As you may have read, the McLaren 675LT was officially unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The model is based on the 650S but it features that unique Long Tail exterior which helps to deliver 40 percent more downforce. More than that, the model is 100 kilograms lighter than the 650S and it is described as the most track-focused, yet road legal McLaren Super Series to date.
Under the hood of the 2015 McLaren 675LT is the same V8 3.8 liter turbo engine. As he name suggest, the unit can deliver 675 horsepower and 700 Nm peak of torque. The motor is coupled to a seven speed SSG transmission that will enable the British model to run from stand still to 96 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 330 km/h.
