Even if it is regarded as the most luxurious large sedan in the premium segment, this doesn`t mean that the Mercedes S550 can not be tuned up for a more sporty appearance.
The MC Customs tuning company decided to introduce a tuning package for the luxury sedan and asked for help in Japan by Wald International.
Exterior
The Japanese tuner decided to offer something impressive and developed a kit that includes a bigger front grille, bigger intakes for the front bumper, larger Savini wheels, red calipers, spoiler lip, tinted taillights and a reshaped rear bumper.
Drivetrain
The MC Customs offers the tuning kit only with the S550 version, which means that under the hood we have the already popular 4.7-liter bi-turbo V8 petrol unit, delivering 449 hp and a generous torque of 700 Nm, delivered between 1800 and 3550 rpm.
The version uses a seven-speed automatic gearbox, that send all the torque to the rear wheels. It is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of just 4.8 seconds and a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
