Mazda is one of the car manufacturers that has been committed to naturally aspirated engines. But now it is time to switch the lanes and the Japanese car manufacturer has announced a new plan.
According to Mazda, by 2025, the line-up will gain three new electric models and another ten hybrid models. The hybrid models will be five plug-in hybrids and five full-hybrids with the technology made by Toyota.
Also, the guys from Mazda will develop a new and dedicated platform for the EV line-up, and the first cars to be produced based on it will be unveiled starting in 2025.
Engineers will also pay attention to new technologies, which will be translated into a special system, according to Mazda. It will be named the Mazda Co-Pilot Concept and it will have advanced semi-autonomous driving skills. It will be unveiled in 2022.
