After we’ve seen Fiat team up with Gucci in order to create unique versions of the 500 and 500C, we now have two more Italian brands united under a single project.
This time it is about Maserati collaborating with Silvia Venturini Fendi and creating the GranCabrio Fendi, "a masterpiece of technology and craftsmanship" which will be on display at the Franfurt Motor Show in September.
Apart from featuring a special dark grey, three-layer body colour with an iridiscent golden finish on the surface, this special Maserati GranCabrio Fendi also comes with wood trim across the dashboard, doors and gear lever, yellow painted brake callipers and headrests embroidered with yellow tridents.
Fendi’s double F logo is stitched on the seats and also appears in the center of the 10 inch Trident design alloy wheels.
The Maserati GranCabrio Fendi is based on the 4.7-litre V8 version equipped with the automatic transmission, and apart from the enhancements mentioned above, the car also comes with a sliver oval plaque located on the dashboard which displays the Maserati trident, the Fendi logo and the 5 digit series number, a special black car cover and the Limited Edition Travel Set of luggage and accessories.
Pricing for the Maserati GranCabrio Fendi was not announced.
