Already the face of Nike and Tag Heuer, Maria Sharapova add sports cars to her list, since she is the new Porsche’s brand ambassador.

As part of a global communications campaign, Sharapova and Porsche agreed to a three-year endorsement deal. Sharapova is familiar with Porsche’s vehicles since last year when she won the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany, one of the prizes was a Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. 


“Maria Sharapova is an exceptional athlete. She combines top performance in her sports with elegance and power. These are precisely the qualities that are embroiled in our sports cars”, said Porsche AG chief executive Matthias Mueller.

According to Huffington Post, Maria Sharapova, the No. 2 women’s tennis player in the world, makes about $20 million a year in endorsements.
