Numerous tuners will use the 2012 Geneva Motor Show as the place to expose their latest range of upgrades and accessories for many of today’s sports cars.
One such tuner is MANSORY who will bring their customised McLaren MP4-12C in the Swiss capital, a vehicle which is described as a work of art featuring an unique body package as well us boosted performance.
The list of body enhancements includes an ultralight bonnet with exposed carbon fiber sections, new aprons, wings, mirror housings also made out of carbon which widen the vehicle by 60 mm, newly designed side sills, plus a rear wing and rear diffuser which help increase downforce on the rear axle.
The MANSORY McLaren MP4-12C sits on 20/21 inch light-metal wheels manufactured using forging technology and wrapped in tires size 245/30ZR20 at the front and 305/25ZR21 at the rear, and in terms of performance, the engine’s standard 608 PS (447 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 600 Nm were increased to 670 PS (493 kW) at 7,100 rpm and 675 Nm at 3,000 to 6,500 rpm.
The power boost was enabled by upgrades such as a high-performance exhaust, a new engine management system and a sports air filter, and thanks to these modifications, MANSORY says the MP4-12C’s new top speed is 353 Km/h.
