The British car maker is continuing to surprise us, this time by revealing photos with the Lotus Elite Roadster (this time with its roof down), which will go on sale in 2014 and will take on competitors like the Aston Martin DB9 Volante and Ferrari California.
Powered by a 5.0-litre V8 developing 620 PS the Lotus Elite Roadster will take around 3.7 seconds to hit 62 mph, while top speed is close to 200 mph (195 mph to be exact).
The Lotus Elite Roadster will use a 7-speed twin-clutch gearbox and an F1 derived KERS system, while the hard top roof features an electric mechanism that folds behind the rear passenger seats.
The Lotus Elite Roadster price will be close to 115,000 GBP.
