We came across a video on the Internet today featuring a team of programmers and the 2008 Formula 1 Champion Lewis Hamilton. Now we don’t know if the video reflects just another brand awareness strategy from the mobile communication giant Vodafone that also "happens" to be the main McLaren Mercedes F1 team sponsor, or a real story but all we know is this video is fun to watch.
So to get to the point : a team of office geeks adapt the Blackberry Storm smart phone to the point where they use the phone as a steering-wheel for a small remote controlled F1 car. After they publish a video of their office grand prix on the Internet, they receive an invitation at McLaren Mercedes’s test tack in Portugal where F1 engineers transplant the system into Lewis Hamilton’s actual F1 car. Watching the 2008 Formula 1 Champion Lewis Hamilton spin hes multi million F1 car around the track via a Blackberry Storm was very amusing and we home you’ll enjoy it as much as we did.
