Land Rover is expanding current Freelander range with the addition of the new Metropolis version. The car was announced in march, but now reaches the market with a full premium list of specifications.
The car costs almost 36.000 GBP and is based on the old HSE Lux trim level. The new Metropolis trim comes extra with panoramic roof, Windsor leather seats and meridian audio system.
Outside, the car features 19 inch alloy wheels, reversing camera and a metallic exterior paint. The equipment list is completed with touchscreen satellite navigation system, better carpets, glossy black cabin trim. The propulsion is ensured by a 2.2-liter SD4 turbodiesel engine producing 188 bhp.
The Freelander Metropolis will be sold until it will be replaced by a completely new model, already known under the Discovery Sport name.
