The German press managed to put an end to the mystery behind the Lancia Stratos, which was initially revealed during tests in some photos that made the Internet rounds.
Despite recent rumors that the Lancia Stratos might make it into production, we now know that this one-off model designed by Pininfarina, was commissioned by Michael Stoschek, owner and CEO of the German automotive supplier, Brose KG.
The Lancia Stratos is based on the Ferrari 430 Scuderia which means that somewhere under its skin there is a 4.3-liter V8 producing 510 horses.
We are still waiting for official details to be released, and hopefully the Lancia Stratos will make it into small series production.
