Back in February 2018, Lamborghini announced us that the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory has started to produce the Urus. This was the first real SUV (guys, please don’t put the LM002 in the same bucket with Urus) developed by Lamborghini in a time period when everybody is looking form an SUV.
And it was a real good job. Today, after just two and a half years of production, Lamborghini Urus made it to the 10.000 units mark. It is a big one for the Italian car manufacturer, judging by the fact that Urus has rapidly become the best selling car in its line-up.
The 10.000th Urus is finished in Nero Noctis Matt color, which is new for the super-SUV, with a full carbon fiber package and a two-tone interior. This unit will go to a Russian customer.
Last year, Lamborghini manged to sell 8,205 vehicles around the world, which represents a 43% jump over 2018. And Urus managed to account 4,962 units of those cars.
