Lamborghini will come to Le Mans and endurance series at the highest level. Not this year, but in 2024.
The Italian car manufacturer announced plans to develop a LMDh prototype which will be homologated to compete in the IMSA series as in the WEC championship. As a result, Lamborghini will compete at the Le Mans at the queen class called Hypercar.
After FIA changed to rules to this new category, other important manufacturers announced a return in endurance.
Peugeot, Porsche and BMW will develop LMDh prototype and all of them will compete in this new category.
