Following its world premiere during this March Geneva Motor Show, the new Lamborghini Aventador MP 570-4 Superveloce was also introduced on American soil during this weekend Amelia Island Concours d`Elegance.

The new Aventador version was created to be lighter and more powerful. No wonder that the new Aventador Superveloce 6.5-liter V12 engine has been increased to 750 horsepower while weight has been decreased by 110 pounds by optimizing equipment levels and utilizing additional lightweight materials such as forged aluminum (rims) and carbon fiber (bodywork and interior).

Aerodynamics

Also an important feature is the aerodynamics, which was improved by 150% while downforce has been increased by more than 170% over the standard Aventador. This enables the Superveloce to accelerate to 60 mph from a standstill in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 217 mph.
