According to the British press, Lamborghini’s replacement for the Murcielago supercar will be named the Aventador.
The Italian car maker has registered the Aventador name with the US trademark office, so it looks like their tradition of naming the cars after Spanish bulls continues.
The Lamborghini Aventador will probably get unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next year, with power provided by the new 6.5-litre V12 engine that links to a single-clutch automated manual transmission.
This means the Lamborghini Aventador will output 691 BHP and 509 lb-ft of torque – making it 59 bhp more potent than the outgoing model.
We’ll keep you posted with more details regarding the Lamborghini Aventador as soon as the company releases them.
