Lada has officially unveiled the all-new Kalina NFR model which will soon reach the assembly lines of the Russian company. As you may have read, Lada is competing with Honda, Citroen, and Polestar in the WTCC series with a special version of Vesta, but when it comes to road-legal cars the brand is not famous for its speed or power model.
But this is about to change with the revealing of the new Kalina NFR. Dubbed as the fastest production model of Lada, the model has a 1.6 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that can deliver 136 horsepower. The unit is matted to a five speed manual gearbox.
As a result, the new Lada Kalina NFR can run from stand still to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 203 km/h. Pretty impressive for a Lada.
Aside for the engine the Kalina NFR also has sports tuned suspensions and steering system. In addition, the model has received bigger and more efficient brakes.
Inside the cabin, customers will find manual air conditioner, heated sports cloth seats, heated mirrors, parking sensors, automatic wipers and headlights, and a four-speaker audio system with seven-inch control display.
