You surely remember the new Koenigsegg Agera R that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show at the beginning on the month. Back then we were being told that this new version of Agera will develop 1115 horsepower and 1200 Nm of torque from its 5.0-litre V8 engine coupled to a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox, and that besides its abilities of hitting a top speed of 260 mph, the Swedish supercar would also take less than 3 seconds to sprint from 0 to 62 mph.
Thanks to a new press release that gives more detailed information regarding the Koenigsegg Agera R performance figures we now know that the car takes just 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h), 7.5 seconds from 0 to 124 mph (0 to 200 Km/h) and that its braking distance from 100 to 0 Km/h is 30.5 meters.
Of course when it comes to extreme supercars like the Koenigsegg Agera R, such performance comes at a price, and we’re not only referring to the car’s actual price tag, which by the way was not announced yet but should be close to 1.5 million USD, but also at its fuel consumption and emissions which are 14.7-litres per 100 Km and 310 grams of CO2 per Km.
The Koenigsegg Agera R’s power to weight ratio is 1.19 Kg per HP and for those lucky enough to ever drive one of these, they should known that the lateral g-force in this thing is 1.6 g.
As far as dimensions the Koenigsegg Agera R is 4293 mm (169") long, 1996 mm (78.6") wide and 1120 mm (44.1") high, with a wheelbase of 2662 mm and 100 mm ground clearance. The luggage compartment can ‘accomodate’ 120 litres wile the fuel tank capacity is 80 litres.
