During 2022 Super Bowl, Kia aired a special commercial with Robo Dog, a cute electronic doggy. That commercial also started a partnership with The Petfinder Foundation, a non-profit organization.
According to the last one, in 2022, thanks to Robo Dog and Kia, it managed to find homes for 22,422 furry friends.
Kia has a half a million USD donation for The Petfinder Foundation, and also released a 10,000 free Robo Dog NFTs, with most of the sale price going to the same foundation.
“Kia is dedicated to giving back and helping more than 22,000 shelter animals find new homes is proof that initiatives like this work and improve local communities, in this instance by easing the burden of overcrowding on local animal shelters nationwide,” said Russell Wager, Kia America’s vice president of marketing.
