During the press event Ford organized in Cologne, Germany manufacturing plant, for the media launch of the new Focus RS, professional rally driver Ken Block managed another stunt behind the wheel. The famous creator of motorsport Gymkhana series was given a camouflaged Focus RS prototype and some empty streets to enjoy some drifts.

The journalists could watch the entire scene on a big screen, until Ken Block entered right in the hall they were sitting. Ken Block attended the presentation and then was interviewed by the media.

We remind you that the new Ford Focus RS, the 30th Ford model to wear the RS badge, is the car created to appeal to customers who would normally opt for a Volkswagen Golf R. Under the hood we have the 2.3-liter Ecoboost engine.

Projected to produce well in excess of 315 horsepower, the custom engine shares its fundamental structure with the all-aluminum 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine in the new Mustang. To cope with such power, the hot hatch was given the chance of using the new Ford Performance All-Wheel Drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring.

To maximize drifts in the video, ESP and Traction Control have been deactivated.
