BBC has announced that Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended “following a fracas” with one of the Top Gear producers. Now Clarkson is waiting an internal investigation and more than that, this week’s Top Gear episode will not be broadcasted.
This isn’t for the first time that the 54-year-old presenter is getting into troubles, but it is the first time that he managed to be suspended. Now we are talking about a tricky situation because last year he received a final warning from BBC. He was accused of making racist remarks during Top Gear filming.
Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have a contract with BBC for Top Gear which will expire next month and according to rumors they will sing a new three year deal. Unfortunately this scandal will have a negative impact on the negotiations.
