Jaguar is one of the car manufacturers that has decided to come up with a new plan dedicated to electrification. According to this plan, presented last year, Jaguar will become an all-electric marquee in 2025.
In order to do so, they needed a dedicated platform, and today we have the confirmation.
According to Adrain Mardell, Jaguar CFO, the engineers have started working on the new Panthera platform. This will be the backbone of the future Jaguar electric line-up.
To reach the target, Jaguar will invest 2.5 billion GBP, and the first products are scheduled to come on the market this year. As you already know, Jaguar has only one electric car on the market right now: the I-Pace SUV.
