Back in 2015, Hyundai unveiled the Santa Cruz concept car. At that point, the Asian car manufacturer said that the prototype would be the base for a future production model.

And that time has arrived, my friends. Hyundai has unveiled the all-new 2022 Santa Cruz. Based on the car manufacturer’s press release, Santa Cruz is more like an SUV, but it also spawns the beauty of a pickup truck. No matter what they say, this is just a posh pickup and we’ll treat it like one.

Under the hood of the Santa Cruz is a naturally aspirated 2.5 liter petrol unit which can deliver more than 190 horsepower and over 240 Nm peak of torque.

There is also a turbocharged engine which has 2.5 liters and it can deliver 275+ horsepower and 420+ Nm of torque. This setup also comes with an all-wheel drive system and an eight speed dual-clutch transmission. This version has a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds.
