According
the automaker, the all new i40 Saloon, which will be sold in the UK
starting from January 5th 2012, will carry a starting price tag of
17,395 GBP, and the available trim levels will be the same as on the
Tourer, meaning Active, Style and Premium.
Engine options for the
Hyundai i40 Saloon include a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.7 CRDi diesel
rated at either 115 PS or 136P while transmission choices include manual
or automatics.
On the Style and Premium versions Hyundai i40
Saloon 1.7 CRDi 136PS Blue Drive which have CO2 emission levels of 119
g/Km the automaker offers the Intelligent Stop & Go system as
standard, while the rest of the features offered as standard on all
models include 16 inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, a lather
steering wheel with integrated audio controls, electric heated door
mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, electric windows, a touch
screen sat nav, rear view parking camera plus front and rear parking
sensors.
The Style trim also gets dual zone climate control while
the Premium grade also features leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof,
keyless entry and an LCD
instrument cluster. Options include the Lane Departure Warning and Smart
Parking Assist systems along with a heated leather
steering wheel and ventilated front seats.
