UK pricing for the new generation Hyundai i30 has been announced, with the 5-door hatchback scheduled to go on sale on March 12.
The Hyundai i30 price starts at 14,495 GBP in the UK, and the car will be available in four main trim levels called Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav. Engine choices include two petrols units : a 1.4-litre delivering 100 PS via a manual gearbox plus a 1.6-litre rated at 120 PS and matched with an automatic transmission as well as two diesels.
The diesel range comprises from a 90 PS 1.4-liter CRDi unit linked to a manual transmission, and a 1.6-litre CRDi capable of delivering either 110 PS or 128 PS.
The Korean car maker says that their Blue Drive technologies will be standard on all 1.6 CRDi manuals, models which will be able to return 76.3 mpg and will emit only 97 grams of Co2 per Km.
Standard equipment on the new Hyundai i30 includes voice-activated Bluetooth, LED daytime running lights, a multi-function
steering wheel, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors and
one-touch indicators. Safety features also fitted as standard include Vehicle Stability Management, Emergency Stop Signal and Hill-start Assist Control.
As we move up in the range we get to the Active trim level which adds 15 inch alloys, cruise control, rear parking sensors, and the automaker’s new dynamic Flex SteerTM system.
If we go one step further we get to the Style models which benefit from 16 inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, front parking sensors, rain sensing wipers,
cornering lights, automatic headlights, automatic de-fog system for
front windscreen and electrically folding door mirrors with LED
indicators.
Finally the range topping version, the Style Nav brings a fully integrated touchscreen satellite navigation system and rear view parking camera.
