FifthGear tested one of the cheapest cars on sale in the UK, the Hyundai i10 Blue, which costs 9,200 GBP, and promises fuel consumption figures of 67 mpg and CO2 emission levels of 99 grams per Km. All this high level of efficiency is enabled by a 3-cylinder petrol engine which will also have you exempt from London’s congestion charge.
When it comes to equipment the Hyundai i10 Blue is also quite generous as it offers Start Stop technology, a gear shift indicator, air conditioning and electric windows as standard. So is there any bad news? well according to FifthGear the Hyundai i10 which is 1000 GBP cheaper than the Blue version would be a more appropriate choice when you don’t need to get into London’s congestion zone very often.
