The South-Korean car maker Hyundai has built one million cars at its Nosovice facility in Czech Republic. The factory was opened in November 3, 2008, and this milestone was achieved in less than five years.

The 1 millionth car was a new generation i30. The Nosovice plan is assembling the ix20 MPV, the ix35 compact SUV and the i30 in 3-doors, 5-doors and wagon versions.

In 2010 the annual production was 200.000 units and in 2012 it raised to 300.000 cars. At Nosovice there are 3.500 employees, with a further 7.000 people working for supplier companies.
