Geneva Motor Show will have a Qatar version

Geneva Motor Show organisers have announced a partnership with Qatar Tourism. Why? Because the guys from Qatar are looking for a new and bigger automotive event.

During the press conference held at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC), the two entities announced that soon we will see a new automotive show in Doha. No, the Geneva Motor Show won’t be moved to Doho. Instead, the organisers will plan a sister event there which will be called Qatar Geneva International Motor Show.

There is no exact date, as the officials say that the first edition might be held in the autumn of 2022 or the autumn of 2023. The Qatar Geneva International Motor Show will be a biennial event and will not be a copy of the Geneva Motor Show.

According to the organisers, the Qatar Geneva International Motor Show will be held in order to comply with the markets and interests in the Middle East.
