According to a report signed by The Sunday Times, the former Top Gear trio will announce a new TV show within weeks. Jeremy Clarkson confirmed that he will be at the forefront of a new car show alongside his long-time friends James May and Richard Hammond.
According to the same report, the new show will kick off before the new Top Gear season which is scheduled to be aired after March 2016.
More than that, we find out that James May will host a new show called “Building Cars Live” on BBC2 together with Kate Humble (from “Springwatch”) and Ant Anstead (from “For the Love of Cars”). We are talking about two 90-minute episodes which will air live from MINI’s factory in Oxford and will show how a car comes to life.
On a related note, BBC asked Jeremy Clarkson to return as Top Gear host a few days after Chris Evans was hired, but he refused.
